ABOUT JIM

Jim Dickson started his career as a bricklayer before earning an Advanced Diploma in Building & Construction Management. In 1988, he founded KERDIC, initially focusing on building residential homes in the Western Suburbs.

His exploration of international markets led to the establishment of Nova Deko in 2005, a modular housing manufacturing facility in China. The factory is strategically positioned to tap into global markets while promoting its Australian roots.

Throughout his career, Jim has completed numerous land developments in Queensland and demonstrated expertise in high-end home construction. Nova Deko’s emphasis on modular construction enabled participation in various global projects, including a recent government initiative in Hong Kong, delivering over 1,532 homes for social housing in 2024 alone.

Jim is dedicated to creating affordable, sustainable, and architecturally striking homes in Australia. His vision to address the housing crisis is supported by his extensive network and over four decades of experience, ensuring each project embodies innovation, sustainability, and efficiency in construction.
